Things To keep In Mind...

​

• Use ammunition with firearms that are in good working order, designed and chambered for the caliber of ammunition.

• Always be sure barrel is free from obstructions; the barrel should be checked in the case of light recoil, or an unusually loud or weak sound is heard during firing.

• If the gun fails to fire, keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction, wait 30 seconds and avoid exposure to breach while unloading.

• Always wear ear and eye protection while shooting.

• Keep ammunition dry, away from radiate heat and store in a cool dry place away from children.

• Firing or cleaning firearms in a poorly ventilated area can result in exposure to lead or other substances known to cause birth defects, reproductive harm, and other serious physical injury. Wash your hands thoroughly after exposure.

 

Customer Affidavit

 

When placing an order, all customers will be required to check a box agreeing to the below statements and terms of sale.

• I am not currently less than twenty-one (21) years old

• By selling or delivering ammunition to me, Velocitas Bullet Systems, LLC. is not violating any state or local law or ordinance.

• I am not under indictment for and have never been convicted in any court of a crime punishable by imprisonment for over one year

• I am not a fugitive from justice

• I am not an unlawful user or addicted to any controlled substance

• I have not been adjudicated as a mental defective and I have not been committed to any mental institution

• I am not an illegal or unlawful alien

• I have never been, and I am not expected to be discharged from the Armed Forces under dishonorable conditions

• I have not renounced my U.S. citizenship

• I am currently not subject to a restraining order of any kind

• I have never been, and I am not expected to be convicted in any court of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence

Shipping Destination Restrictions

​

Ammunition ships UPS Ground only. It cannot go by air, so there is no expedited option, we cannot ship to a P.O. box, and we need a real street address.

​

We do not ship outside the United States.

​

You must be 21 or older to buy any ammunition from us, rifle ammunition included. Some states and cities add requirements on top of that, and those are listed below.

​

States where we ship to a licensed dealer, not to your home

​

California, Massachusetts and New York.

​

Enter your dealer's address as the shipping address and put their business name in the Company field. Email a copy of their license to info@velocitasbullets.com with your order number in the subject line.

​

Two things worth knowing before you pick a dealer. Ask what they charge to receive ammunition, because that fee is between you and them and it varies a lot. And if a dealer will not give you a copy of their license, pick a different dealer. It is a normal request and we cannot ship without it.

​

California customers: confirm your dealer holds a California Ammunition Vendor License. A federal firearms license on its own is not enough. They are two different things, and most dealers have both, but not all.

​

States where we ship to your home once we have your documents

​

Connecticut, Illinois, New Jersey and Rhode Island.

​

Email both of the following to info@velocitasbullets.com with your order number in the subject line:

​

1. Your driver's license or state ID, front and back.

2. Your state credential, unexpired. Connecticut is your ammunition certificate, pistol permit or eligibility certificate. Illinois is your FOID card or concealed carry license. New Jersey is your Firearms Purchaser ID card. Rhode Island is your pistol or revolver safety certificate, your hunter education card, or a carry permit issued by a Rhode Island city, town or the attorney general.

We keep these on file, so you only do this once, and future orders ship without you sending anything again. If a document expires between orders we will ask for the current one. Your shipping address has to match the address on your ID or your permit.

​

Chicago

​

We cannot ship ammunition to an address inside the Chicago city limits. This is a city rule and it is separate from Illinois state law. Everywhere else in Illinois is fine with the documents above.

​

Colorado

​

Someone 21 or over has to be there to sign when UPS delivers, and they will need photo ID. Ship it somewhere you know a person will be.

​

Alaska, Hawaii and Washington DC

​

We do not ship ammunition to these three. For Alaska and Hawaii the reason is the carrier: ammunition moves by ground only, and ground service does not reach either one from Texas. If you order anyway we will refund you in full.

​

We hate to not be able to serve all customers, but we live in a country where some legislative bodies are tempting fate with the 2nd Amendment and the Commerce Clause. If you live in a restricted area, please write your Congressman or elect a different one who has more respect for your Constitutional rights.

​

If we are holding your order

​

We will email you and tell you exactly what is missing. Nothing ships until we have it and nothing gets thrown away. If we have not heard from you in 30 days we will cancel the order and refund it in full, with no cancellation fee, so you are never left with money sitting on an order that cannot move.

​

Order Cancellation by Customer or Velocitas Bullet Systems, LLC.

 

Velocitas Bullet Systems, LLC reserves the option to cancel any order where the purchaser has not abided by these Terms and Conditions. If you or we cancel an order, you will receive a refund of the full purchase amount less a $15.00 cancellation fee or 5% of the total, whichever is greater. We do not like cancelling orders, but sometimes we must where a customer has not adhered to these Terms and Conditions. When that happens our office still incurs costs, from credit card processing fees to chargeback fees.

​

There is one exception, and it covers most cancellations. If we cancel because we cannot ship to your address, or because we did not receive the documents your state requires, we refund you in full and charge nothing. You followed the rules as you understood them and you should not pay for that. The fee is there for orders that ignore these Terms outright.

​

It is your responsibility to make sure that you fully understand and comply with these Terms and Conditions.

 

Product Availability times are estimates.  They provide a general timeframe for when your order may begin its journey to you.

​

Unforeseen circumstances can sometimes cause delays. These may include:

​

• Supply chain disruptions: Issues with raw materials, production, or transportation can impact order fulfillment.

• Unexpected high demand: Increased order volume can sometimes slow down processing times.

• Weather events: Severe weather can delay shipments and impact transportation routes.

​

Please note that even when order delays occur, we still incur fees from credit card companies for both the initial charge and any subsequent refund.  These fees are part of the standard processing costs for credit card transactions.

​

Agreement to Indemnify and Defend for Misrepresentation

​

In the event that any of the above statements under the “Customer Affidavit” section of these Terms and Conditions are determined to be untrue, I will release, hold harmless, indemnify, and pay to defend Velocitas Bullet Systems, LLC and its owners, agents, officers, and employees against any resulting civil liability or criminal prosecution.

​

Assumption of Shipping Liability

​

While we do our best to ensure that your product reaches your door as quickly and as trouble-free as possible, we simply cannot guarantee that the shipping carrier (for example, UPS) you select will not damage or lose your product or that once delivered, your product will not be stolen or damaged.  Once your product is delivered to the shipping carrier you have chosen, they assume all responsibility for its safe transit to your delivery address and thereafter and hereby explicitly release Velocitas Bullet Systems, LLC from all liability and responsibility thereafter. We will however, help file a claim.  All packages are fully insured against damage and loss in transport, not theft once on your doorstep.

Release of Liability and Agreement to Indemnify and Defend

​

While Velocitas Bullet Systems, LLC strives to offer high quality products and excellent customer service, it cannot be held liable for the improper use of any of its products. Furthermore, I understand and acknowledge that Velocitas Bullet Systems, LLC expressly disclaims any and all liability for the accuracy of information provided to me, and for how I use information provided to me, by Velocitas Bullet Systems, LLC, and I understand and acknowledge that Velocitas Bullet Systems, LLC cannot be held liable for how I or anyone else uses any information I receive from Velocitas Bullet Systems, LLC. Therefore, I explicitly agree to release, hold harmless, indemnify, and pay to defend Velocitas Bullet Systems, LLC and its owners, agents, officers, and employees against any resulting damages and/or civil liability or criminal prosecution arising from or related to my use of information provided by Velocitas Bullet Systems, LLC.

 

By placing an order with Velocitas Bullet Systems, LLC, I understand and acknowledge that I alone am responsible for how the product I purchased from Velocitas Bullet Systems, LLC is used by me and by any other party.  I explicitly agree to release, hold harmless, indemnify, and pay to defend Velocitas Bullet Systems, LLC and its owners, agents, officers, and employees against any resulting damages and/or civil liability or criminal prosecution arising from or related to the products I have purchased, to include but not limited to the use of the product, the storage of the product, and the transportation of the product. In the event that any other party files a claim of any kind against Velocitas Bullet Systems, LLC, I will indemnify and pay to defend Velocitas Bullet Systems, LLC and its owners, agents, officers, and employees against any resulting civil liability or criminal prosecution.

Jurisdiction

​

In the event that I choose to file a complaint against Velocitas Bullet Systems, LLC or any of its owners, agents, officers, or employees, I agree that such a complaint must be filed within a court located in Dallas County, Texas.  I agree that any complaints filed within any other jurisdiction shall be immediately removed to a court within Dallas County, Texas and I agree to reimburse Velocitas Bullet Systems, LLC and its owners, agents, officers, and employees for any costs they may each incur in defending against the complaint or effecting its removal until such time that the complaint is properly filed within a court located in Dallas County, Texas.
