The VX9 is a solid copper, lead-free 9mm built for law enforcement, military, and everyday defensive carry. It's machined from a solid copper billet with a hollow point nose and precision-cut slits down the body — no lead, no jacket to separate.
Here's how it works. Put a hard barrier in front of it — auto glass, sheet steel, a car door — and the nose folds in and drives through, holding together and keeping nearly all its weight. Hit soft tissue and it opens into petals, expanding its surface area to transfer energy where you want it. Same round, two behaviors, depending on what it hits. That's what "barrier-blind" means. I tried the VX9 based off testing data and the fact its a small company.
I was very impressed. It was as accurate as any defensive ammo I've ever tested and possibly a little better. It fed well in my pistol. It functioned perfectly.
If I had to find something negative to say it is expensive compared to some other options but not unreasonable when you consider its an all copper machined projectile.
The customer service was phenomal and shipping was fast.

For only 96 grain the kick back is less which means I can stay on target with less adjustments
