Velocitas Bullet Systems agreed to help me prototype my little 56.4 grain .312" dia. all copper hollow point. After just a few tweaks I called it good. Out of a Smith & Wesson Shield Plus, chambered in 30 Super Carry, with its 3.1" barrel I can safely achieve 1,800 fps and over 400 ft lbs. of muzzle energy. Out of a 3095 Hi-Point Carbine chambered for the 30 Super Carry I can knock on the door of 2,500 fps and reach over 700 ft lbs. The Velocitas folks are number 1 in my book.
